These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ServiceOps (the "Service"). By accessing our website, requesting a demo, signing up for a trial, or using the Service as a customer, you agree to these Terms.
ServiceOps is an AI-powered operations platform for field service companies. The Service includes an AI voice receptionist that answers inbound calls, captures caller information, and auto-logs activity, plus supporting tools for managing calls, timesheets, customer records, and downstream integrations. The Service is intended for use by small and mid-sized field service businesses (roughly 1 to 50-person teams) and their authorized staff.
New accounts begin with a free trial that gives you full access to the features of the plan you selected. There is no charge during the trial, and no payment information is required to start one.
At the end of the trial, if you have not cancelled, your account automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription at the price listed for your selected plan at sign-up. Billing is then monthly in advance, charged on the same calendar date each month (or the closest business day if your date falls on a weekend or holiday). Accepted payment methods are major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Invoices and receipts are emailed automatically after each charge.
If your payment method fails, we retry over the following week and notify you by email. If payment remains unsuccessful after fourteen days, your account is paused and inbound calls are routed to a brief "this number is unavailable" message until payment is resolved.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@serviceops.com from the address on your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period — you keep full access through the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate the unused portion.
If you cancel within 30 days of your first paid charge, contact us at the same address and we will issue a prorated refund for the unused days of that first paid month. After the 30-day window, paid fees are non-refundable. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Place or receive calls that violate any applicable law, harass or defraud third parties, or promote violence or illegal goods or services; impersonate any person or entity other than your own business in your caller-ID configuration; attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted; or interfere with the Service's operation, including by probing or load-testing it without our written consent.
You are responsible for the legality of the calls your account places and for the content of any greetings or call-routing rules you configure. We may suspend the Service if we reasonably believe it is being used in violation of these terms and will give you notice and an opportunity to cure where practicable.
We work hard to keep ServiceOps available. Because the Service depends on third-party telephony (Twilio), AI processing (Anthropic), and hosting providers, we provide the Service on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage, response time, or that any individual call will be answered. Major incidents are communicated by email and a status notice on our site. We are not liable for missed calls, dropped calls, or delayed AI transcripts caused by upstream provider outages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServiceOps and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, customers, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms as our Service or business changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. For material changes — for example, a change to the refund window or to the limitation of liability — we will give you at least 30 days notice by email before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
